Serviced plots strategy

LUICO’s serviced plots division has been our core business focus for the past seven years. In response to the burgeoning demand for plots, we are embarking on an expansion strategy that involves planning and surveying an impressive 400 acres of land in both Arusha and Dar es Salaam.

In Arusha, we find a city experiencing remarkable growth, driven by population increase and a revitalized economy post-COVID. Arusha, often referred to as a tourist town, is a hotspot for middle and high-end gated community developments. The constant influx of tourists and international conferences underscores the urgent need for well-designed, quality living spaces and accommodation.

Dar es Salaam, on the other hand, is grappling with a surge in population as the city expands into the Pwani region along the Kibaha and Bagamoyo roads. This population growth has fueled a rising demand for middle-income serviced plots.

In Dodoma, the government’s administrative shift and the relocation of private institutions have substantially increased the demand for plots. Given that land costs remain accessible, a majority can afford well-planned and surveyed serviced plots.

Our strategic plan entails the planning and surveying of over 500 acres in areas with high demand and favorable features such as proximity to a ring road, airport access, presence of the government city, universities, light industries, reliable water and waste management systems, fiber optics connectivity, and LPG availability.

At LUICO, we are committed to facilitating access to quality living and investment opportunities, aligning with the evolving dynamics of these dynamic cities. Our expansion initiatives aim to contribute significantly to the housing and real estate landscape in Tanzania.
